A situations advisor with tales of broken fingers

Dreamt that there was deep snow everywhere which had bought a previous way of life to an end. There were few luxuries. Most people (seemingly few in number) congregated in a dated shopping mall but few had the money to buy anything. There was an amber hue from the subdued lighting. We went to see a professional 'situations advisor' who seemed to hold a position in society akin to the doctors of the past. He told us he knew of many people who ended up 'getting their fingers broken' just for attempting to obtain credit.
He escorted us home (a conglomerate of know and unknown abodes) through the waist high snow. A deceased relative was waiting there for us (very unusual for people I know/knew to turn up in a dream).

Calling Time On Film

Clocks come in all shapes and sizes. This 35mm film canister styled clock evokes those dwindling days of film photography. In the future will any possible memory card styled clocks look anywhere near as stylish?

Had a dream filled with images and situations of heavy handed symbolism

Though I often wonder why the subconscious has to be so cryptic.

Strangely aware of the very distant sounds of town traffic carried on the wind like urban breathing

It comes through a slightly open window in short but quiet bursts to make me aware of life away from the beige estates on the edge of town

Unreliable Antipodean Telly

Australia’s Channel Nine has been voted the most "unreliable" television network in the country

Seems like their reputation has finally caught up with Channel 9.Punctuality isn't everything in life but I used to hope against hope that at least the 6pm news would actually start at 6pm.Fat chance quite often. Apparently the state funded ABC (affectionately referred to as 'Aunty' in the same way as the BBC used to be in the UK) was named the most reliable Australian network. Channel 9 seem to be in a place akin to ITV in the UK where its best days are perhaps behind it.

I often dream of having a basement or slotting a new floor underneath our infuriating nano home

Small homes sap the soul at times

From Earth across the sky

A wide shot of a variety of clouds and contrails in the late evening sky. Almost looks like one of those 'Earth from space' pics.
